How does consumption-based pricing work?
You pay only for the time your dedicated VPN server exists. Prices start from £0.05 per hour and depend on the server size you choose. Add credit to your account, deploy a server, and the meter takes the cost from your balance while it runs. Simple, transparent, and fair.
How does prepaid credit work?
Your account holds a balance of credit. You top it up by card or cryptocurrency, from £10 at a time, and the cost of your servers is taken from the balance as they run. There is no subscription, no invoice and no card kept on file. Your dashboard shows the balance, how long it will last at your current usage, and every top-up and charge.
Are there any usage limits?
Dedicated VPN instances on hourly billing have no data caps and no throttling. Data coming in is free. Data your VPN server sends out is metered and is billed as part of your usage.
How is running time measured?
Running time is measured from the moment your dedicated VPN server starts until you stop it, and charged by the minute. You can see your current running time and charges in real time on your dashboard.
What happens when my credit runs out?
We email you when your balance has about 24 hours of use left at your current rate, and again at about one hour. If the balance reaches zero, your servers are shut down and removed. Your account stays open: top up and you can deploy again straight away.
How can I add credit?
By credit or debit card through Stripe, or with cryptocurrency: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Tether and Monero. Card payments are made on Stripe's secure payment page, so your card details never reach our servers and no card is stored. Top-ups start at £10.
Is there a minimum charge?
The smallest dedicated VPN server costs £0.05 per hour and larger sizes cost more. Charges are worked out by the minute, so a server that runs for twenty minutes costs a third of its hourly price.
Can I get unused credit back?
Credit you have added stays on your account until your servers use it. It cannot be withdrawn or returned to you, so top up in the amounts you expect to use.
What happens if I stop my VPN instance?
You pay for the time the server is running, plus a smaller standing charge for what is kept while it is stopped: its IP address and its storage. Start and stop it as you need; every charge appears on your dashboard as it happens.
What happens if I delete my VPN instance?
Once your VPN server is deleted and fully deprovisioned, all of its resources are released and charging stops completely, including the IP address and storage. Charges up to the moment of deletion have already come off your balance.
